Is Q-84030 a complete ready-to-install system? +

The Q-84030 Base Kit includes the core INQLINE SECUREMENT winch units, controller, joystick, wall panel, and all cable harnesses. It does not include rear tie-down retractors, installation mounting hardware, or occupant belt — those are in our complete kits (Q-84041 through Q-84043). If you already have compatible rear retractors and hardware, the base kit may be all you need. Contact us to confirm.

What's the difference between INQLINE SECUREMENT and INQLINE ASSIST? +

INQLINE SECUREMENT (this product) is a rear-entry-only system where the winch retractors also function as integrated front tie-downs — passenger boarding and securement are handled by a single system. INQLINE ASSIST (Q-84027 / Q-84035) is for side-entry or rear-entry vehicles — it handles boarding only and requires separate wheelchair tie-down securements. ASSIST is ideal if your vehicle already has a compliant 4-point securement system and you just need powered boarding control.

Does INQLINE work with any wheelchair? +

INQLINE is designed to work with the vast majority of manual and power wheelchairs. The 360° webbing guide and improved belt angles allow larger chairs to fit in tighter vehicle spaces while maintaining proper securement angles. Contact us if you have a specific wheelchair model in mind.

Does installation require a certified installer? +

Yes. INQLINE SECUREMENT requires vehicle-specific installation by a qualified mobility equipment installer or upfitter. Q'STRAINT recommends installation be performed by a certified technician. Once installed, the system is designed for easy daily operator use with no special training beyond the operator tutorial.

How does the warranty work? +

INQLINE carries a 2-year limited warranty when you register the product at qstraint.com/register. Without registration, a 1-year limited warranty applies. We strongly recommend registering immediately after installation.

Can the same vehicle handle both wheelchair and cot transport? +

INQLINE SECUREMENT is optimized for wheelchair boarding in rear-entry vehicles. For cot securement in the same vehicle, see our AMBULOK cot securement system. Contact us to discuss a dual-use vehicle setup.
