AMBULOK is Q'Straint's docking system for ambulance and NEMT cot transport. Instead of a cot-specific fastener, AMBULOK uses a bracket that installs on the cot without permanent modification, then docks into OMNI Floor L-track already installed in the vehicle — the same track system used for four-point wheelchair tie-downs. That shared floor infrastructure is what makes AMBULOK practical: a vehicle already outfitted for wheelchair transport can add cot capability, and vice versa.

Ambulance crashes are among the most dangerous events in emergency medical services. Research from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and the Centers for Disease Control has consistently identified unsecured or improperly secured equipment — including stretchers, patients, and loose gear — as a primary cause of injury to both patients and EMS providers during both crash events and sudden stops.
