About This Part

The Q840031 is the left-hand powered winch unit for the Q'Straint INQLINE Securement system. It is the motorized securement device that mounts to the L-Track floor anchoring system on the left side of the vehicle, extending and retracting to engage the wheelchair for securement. The Q840030 is driven by the main controller (QS01093) via the LH side cable harness (QS00148). Each complete INQLINE Securement system includes one Q840030 (RH) and one Q840031 (LH).

How It Works

The Q840031 left-hand unit is one half of the INQLINE Securement system. When paired with the matching right-hand unit, the system uses two independently controlled powered winch/retractor assemblies to help guide a wheelchair passenger into the vehicle, secure the wheelchair in its designated position, and assist with unloading.

A compatible INQLINE joystick/controller allows the operator to control the system during the boarding and deboarding process. Once the wheelchair is positioned, the system’s automatic-tensioning function helps hold the wheelchair securely for transport.

INQLINE equipment should be installed, configured, and serviced by a qualified mobility-equipment installer in accordance with Q’STRAINT instructions and applicable vehicle-conversion requirements.
