Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know this is the right replacement belt for my system? +
Match the SKU on your existing belt to confirm compatibility. The Q5-6210/11 is a front belt with J-hook designed for Q'Straint securement systems. If you can't locate the SKU on your existing hardware, contact us at 800.884.6456 with your vehicle make/model and retractor brand — we can help identify the correct replacement part.
Can I mix this Q'Straint belt with a different brand's retractor? +
No. All four tie-down components at each wheelchair securement position should be the same brand and series. Mixing brands can affect system-level compatibility and compliance. If your vehicle currently has a different brand installed, contact us and we'll help identify the correct brand-matched replacement.
Do I need all four belts replaced, or just one? +
If only one belt is worn or damaged, a single replacement is acceptable — provided the remaining three belts are in serviceable condition. Inspect all four at the time of replacement. If any show fraying, cuts, UV degradation, or deformed hardware, replace those as well. Under 49 CFR Part 37.161, inoperative securement equipment must be repaired promptly.
Need help identifying the right replacement belt?
Tell us your vehicle, current retractor model, and wheelchair type — we'll confirm the correct part.
