The PROTEKTOR system is engineered to enhance both passenger safety and operator efficiency. With automatic belt retraction and controlled tensioning, it minimizes human error while speeding up loading and unloading times—critical for high-volume transport environments. Electric retractors are controlled directly through the vehicle’s electrical system and can be used as front tie downs where there is limited space for an operator to complete securement. This bundle also includes a manual pelvis lap belt and retractable shoulder belt.

Should an extension belt be needed, the H 350 245-24 will work in conjunction with this lap belt.

A complete wheelchair tie-down and occupant restraint system — often called a 4-point securement system — has three primary components: floor anchorages (L-Track rail and floor pockets), wheelchair securement retractors (4-point tie-downs), and an occupant restraint (lap and shoulder belt). Do I need to buy floor anchors separately? +

Check the What's Included section. If L-Track rail or floor pockets are not listed, they need to be purchased separately. Your vehicle may already have floor anchorage installed — check before ordering.

Is professional installation required? +

The retractors connect to existing floor anchorage and require no special tools for daily use. Floor anchorage components must be installed by a qualified WAV modifier.

Can I mix brands within the same vehicle? +

We do not recommend mixing brands within the same 4-point wheelchair position. All four retractors at each position should be the same brand and series for system-level compatibility and compliance.
