QRT MAX retractors provide self-locking, self-tensioning operation that automatically takes up excess webbing as the wheelchair is secured. The knobless design helps prevent interference with wheelchair wheels and footrests while eliminating uncertainty about whether additional tensioning is needed. This supports fast, consistent, one-handed wheelchair hook-up for drivers, attendants, and transit personnel.

Each retractor uses an L-Track fitting with a Positive Lock Indicator to provide a visual confirmation that the fitting is engaged in compatible L-Track. J-hooks attach to suitable wheelchair securement points and help reduce webbing twist. The compact, low-profile retractor design can fit beneath most wheelchair footrests and helps provide more room for larger wheelchairs and scooters.

The included HR131 retractable lap and shoulder belt features a retractable L-Track height adjuster and 131° bracket. The height adjuster allows the shoulder-belt D-ring position to be set along compatible L-Track, helping support proper shoulder-belt routing for the passenger and vehicle layout. The 131° bracket is designed to help guide the shoulder belt into an appropriate position in compatible installations.

Do I need to buy floor anchors separately? +

Check the What's Included section. If L-Track rail or floor pockets are not listed, they need to be purchased separately. Your vehicle may already have floor anchorage installed — check before ordering.

Is professional installation required? +

The retractors connect to existing floor anchorage and require no special tools for daily use. Floor anchorage components must be installed by a qualified WAV modifier.

Can I mix brands within the same vehicle? +

We do not recommend mixing brands within the same 4-point wheelchair position. All four retractors at each position should be the same brand and series for system-level compatibility and compliance.
